Why does some apps update doesn't show in fdroid website but is available in the app store ? (lemmy.ml)

I thought the store got the update from the repo so theoratically should'nt the website have it if the fdroid app store is taking updates from there ( I am talking about the official fdroid app , the main repo and main site ) or is the official site and repo not the same or am i missing something ?
