- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). So, this only applies to firearms, right? Can I circumvent this by owning a bow, crossbow, sword or one of the cool experimental coil//plasma/laser guns instead? /S
Railguns aren't firearms. :)
Or a black powder pistol. Don't mind me or my belt full of three Colt Navy 1851s. Guess I gotta start chewing so I can spit like Josey too.

So...I just need to replace the gunpowder within each bullet with black powder and I'd be good to go?
I like where your head is at, loopholes rule, but no I think that the gun has to be the cap n ball kind like the old colt navys or big bore muskets of yore. The trick is those aren't actually legally considered firearms.
Alright. I guess I should just get a coilgun instead or maybe a repeating crossbow from ye olde times
Yes, or the black powder. Warning: Legal use of force laws for your area still apply, so make sure you have the right to send crossbow bolts through an attacker's skull before you do it. Remember, protect life not property (in most areas, if protecting property with deadly force is legal in your area you already know you're in Texas).
I live in south America xD but thanks. I'll try to get some vintage or futuristic weapons for self defense for the loophole lols /$
Ah damn yeah well then definitely check your laws first lol!
Go for it.

Reminds of a few states with magazine capacity bans written so narrowly that they cannot be construed to also apply to belt fed weapons and for the low price of 2000 dollars you can order a part for any AR you own to convert it into a belt fed. Following laws is only for poor people.
