I'm on lemmy.ml, and I want to subscribe to https://lemmy.world/c/songaweek. There it says to put !songaweek@lemmy.world into search on my instance to subscribe, but it doesn't turn up anything. Anyone know why this might be, and/or how to work around it?

it could be that the two instances cant talk to each other, or are perhaps rate limited. Are you able to connect from a different source instance?

Tried here and that didn't get any results either. Nor do I get any results for !memes@lemmy.world "https://lemmy.ml/search?q=!memes%40lemmy.world&type=Communities" which is weird since I see those posts on my lemmy.ml feed.
