A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

MODERATORS
I'm not surprised that people who reject a platform with centralized authority for shifting to "deliver value to shareholders" mode would be more leftist.
I was expecting more libertarians.
Libertarians can be both Left or Right, Libertarianism is just the opposite of Authoritarianism. Left/Right just indicates economic policy.
People often treat it as "Conservative that likes weed and doesn't want to be called one"
I agree (for the most part). I still don't see a lot of them around on either side. But you might be right in that I was expecting more right wing libertarians as well.
I consider myself left libertarian btw.
Honestly, it might offend "leftist" principles more, but it's an awful experience for anyone using it. I don't think even the hardest line Trump supporters are trying to use the official reddit app.
