Is Ratio Cheating prevalent on private trackers? (lemmy.world)

Ive always noticed some suspicious profiles on private trackers, where they have enormous ratio stats even though they don't belong to a VIP tier/class. How do they achieve this? Do they use softwares like greedytorrents or ratioghost? If yes how do they go undetectable by the mods? I've been looking up some remote forums from (sb-innovations.de) where there's literally a group discussion on this.

Seedbox and freshly released torrents. I joined Torrentleech on June 1st, got a seedbox 2 days later and started downloading freshly released Freeleech torrents. The result ? Ratio of 198.339. Uploaded 8.44TB and "downloaded" 45GB.
