Generally when you make these kind of accusations, its polite to provide some evidence of your claims. There is a pretty large gray area that exists when moderating subs like worldnews and politics, so such communities are almost constantly beset with accusations of some type of bias.
Modlogs exist, if he has clearly been manipulating posts then it shouldn't be hard to find the evidence.
I've already had this conversation yesterday and provided links. Check my comment history and the mod log, why rely on a biased source provided by me when you can just verify the truth for yourself?
Looks like you had a pointless, circular argument with another user 5 days ago and he nuked the thread because it was going nowhere. I'm okay with that. Then when you brought it up today, a different mod removed some of those comments.
When you say he's manipulating posts, it implies he has some kind of agenda. If his agenda is to remove unproductive and hostile discussion from the sub, then I support his agenda. You implied it's some kind of political bias, but I don't see any evidence of that.
I think he probably just wants you to be more polite in your tone.
You are looking at the wrong purged threads. I'm implying he is abusing mod powers for 2 functions.
Is to harrass people he disagrees with. That is the thread you are looking at. There was no rule breaking content, but he wanted to scrub comments from my history and that was 1 session he did it too. There are 3 other subreddits he took action like that against me.
Is his political engagement. He scrubs comments that call out his misinformation as he did in the other thread shared.
I called him on point 2 so he started doing point 1 to me.
Get shitty? I told them not to trust the narrative I'm painting and to self verify against my claims. I also told them the specific locations of where my sourced arguments could be found and rewrote most of it below in a different comment.
Don't inject your shitty attitude into my comment, please, and thank you.
My first encounter with them. Where they are spreading misinformation and limiting input of others with moderation action. I start calling them on it there.
Here is the thread they start purging for calling their moderation actions out. Idk if there is a way to see deleted comments, but if so, do it. You won't find anything except for me calling him on his moderation.
Pretty sure one of the comments in there has me providing more links to actual moderation actions.
Just go disagree with the dude on something and start seeing old unrelated comments getting deleted.
Once you call him on it, he will start messing with your old comments in other subs.
This website is already facing these kinds of issues.
There is a super mod on lemmy.world (jordanlund) who is blatantly manipulating posts with moderation and banning people who call him out.
The dude threatened me directly for calling him on it.

Ok. I am keeping an eye on his behavior.
I'm going to tell people a really unfair thing happened to me, then get shitty when concerned people ask for details.

There it is 😅
Hey, look who came crawling back to say nothing of value.
Well when you came crawling forward to offer nothing of value first, I didn't want to make you go it alone, buddy ❤️😘
Supermod = super important and everybody should listen.
/s for those that need it
Apparently, disagreeing with him and his usage of moderation tools to spread propoganda is ban worthy.
The dude just banned me from 4 different subs he moderates for commenting on his moderation.
Guy got his first smidge of power and couldn't handle it.
Post what evidence you have. We can’t tolerate this kind of petty tyranny taking root here.

What kind of manipulations has he done, and how do you know?
