Dude you don't refer to Rembrandt Peale as just Rembrandt, because Rembrandt Van Rijn already was considered an old master before Peale was born.

I definitely thought “hmm, this one feels very out of character for Rembrandt” but would never have thought there were any other painters with that name—thank you for pointing this out!

Also apparently and unsurprisingly the Peale Rembrandt was named for the van Rijn.

Here's a fun fact, Caravaggio is not his name, it's the town he's from. We call him that because his full name is Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio.

What's not allowed: Digital art (anything made with Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Krita, Blender, GIMP or other art programs) or AI art (anything made with Stable Diffusion, Midjourney or other models)
