The members of this jury served diligently on this case, and their verdict must be respected and addressed in a manner that is not diluted by the enormity of the upcoming presidential election. Likewise, if one is necessary, the Defendant has the right to a sentencing hearing that respects and protects his constitutional rights.

Haven't we known the date of the election for roughly 225 years?

I love that I know the game just by the tone of the dialogue option.

Well, since you know everything about anarchism that you ever will, I don't see this discussion going anywhere.

Have a good one!

If you really want to learn about anarchism instead of just spouting off an ignorant take, you should do some reading. Assuming you know everything about a whole political philosophy based off of the name and a half-understood definition that you just Googled is not the path forward.

It's nobody else's responsibility to educate you, especially when you're being belligerently hard-headed about learning what others think.

A one-word summation is for people who do not appreciate nuance, and I have no desire to engage with such a request.

I imagine a scene where Vance opens up a donut box like the Pulp Fiction briefcase and there's an eldrich horror inside.

"This doesn't make any sense..."

[-] Zombiepirate@lemmy.world 25 points 2 days ago

Whatever makes sense.

I dunno, he didn't even make hard eye contact with every employee and interrogate them about where they've been.

Anarchism: a political theory advocating the abolition of hierarchical government and the organization of society on a voluntary, cooperative basis without recourse to force or compulsion.

I don't follow. How is it hypocritical for an anarchist forum to have rules that the community agrees upon? I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding of what anarchists believe.

How about not getting shot by police while eating ice cream on the couch?

Why don't you bomb a federal building about it?

[-] Zombiepirate@lemmy.world 14 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Why do you assume I'm talking about myself?

We're not all as self-obsessed as conservatives. You just can't help but tell on yourself, huh?

Why don't you storm the capitol about it?

[-] Zombiepirate@lemmy.world 30 points 3 days ago

We're going to keep demanding equal rights for everyone despite your fascist bullshit.

Why don't you light a tiki torch about it?

The use of blue glaze on pottery is an imported technique, first developed by Mongol artisans who combined Chinese glazing technology with Persian decorative arts. This technique traveled east to India with early Turkic conquests in the 14th century. During its infancy, it was used to make tiles to decorate mosques, tombs and palaces in Central Asia. Later, following their conquests and arrival in India, the Mughals began using them in India. Gradually the blue glaze technique grew beyond an architectural accessory to Indian potters. From there, the technique traveled to the plains of Delhi and in the 17th century went to Jaipur.

Tobias Verhaecht (1561–1631) was a painter from Antwerp in the Duchy of Brabant who primarily painted landscapes. His style was indebted to the mannerist world landscape developed by artists like Joachim Patinir and Pieter Bruegel the Elder. He was the first teacher of Pieter Paul Rubens.

The original page 13 of the Codex Borbonicus, showing the 13th trecena of the Aztec sacred calendar. This 13th trecena was under the auspices of the goddess Tlazolteotl, who is shown on the upper left wearing a flayed skin, giving birth to Cinteotl. The 13 day-signs of this trecena, starting with 1 Earthquake, 2 Flint/Knife, 3 Rain, etc., are shown on the bottom row and the right column.

The Codex Borbonicus is one of a very few Aztec codices that survived the colonial Spanish inquisition. When the Spanish conquistadors (led by Hernán Cortés) entered Aztec cities, they would often find libraries filled with thousands of native works. However, most of the works were destroyed during the conquest as a means to hasten the conversion of the Aztec to European ideals.
