I realize that they are likely mostly done by hand but I quite miss them. They were some of my favorite features on that subreddit.

I suppose a script could be written to automate at least parts of it.

I do occasionally make review threads like that one. They're easy to do and aren't done by hand actually, anyone can grab the template from OpenCritic.

  1. Go to OpenCritic and find the game you want

  2. Under "Share This Game", click the rightmost button (Export)

  3. Choose the "Reddit" export (it's actually just markdown so it can be used anywhere)

And there you go, it'll give you a template full of reviews you can copy and paste to make your own thread. Now it's mostly a matter of cleaning up the formatting a bit and maybe removing some lesser known reviews in case there are too many (like 20+ of them)
