Meanwhile the Yanks are scrambling to build chip fabs on home soil (and failing miserably) because they're very aware that depending on their occupation of Taiwan for their chips isn't going to last much longer and the missile production must never stop!
And slightly related to this post, if anyone ever asks you why the Yanks are so invested in Taiwan, just show them this video of someone disassembling a Javelin anti-tank missile's guidance computer. Pretty much every single chip inside that thing is made in Taiwan.
