I think I dropped seeds here many months ago.

Not the first time I see something growing that I don't recognise. I guess we have to settle for what the plants want instead of what I'd like to grow.

Is it a fruit? Dang I'm thinking a particular fruit, but I've been fooled by something completely unrelated that has similar leafs.

Ok, for real I need pointers. Like do snails like it, and if it prefers sun or shade. In in Melbourne Australia, and the current placement gets no sun at all but is humid and gets heaps of snails.

It's a flower, snails do like it. It prefers shade in hot weather, can take full sun in cooler weather. Likes to be kept moist.
