Can someone explain why the Kentucky fried fuck they would do this? How does it benefit anything? Interoperability or just data farming? Seriously disappointed was just about to buy this on steam.
They claim it's so that Sony can handle banning players. In reality it's a split between data farming and an attempt to get people into the playstation ecosystem.
It's really too bad Arrowhead went with Sony as a publisher.
The only capitalist innovation coming out of the Empire is new ways to extract rents.
