72 first place votes
Thanks. I noticed Gobert had obviously the more vote as 1st, Wemby the most as 2nd and the third as... 3rd. That means positions were clear in the minds of every voter.
Also, among the useless votes, Shai before Jarrett Allen is a joke
I know I'm a homer but Shai actually should have been one higher. His steals numbers we're bananas most of the season. If he hadn't sat for those few / we had less garbage time down the stretch, he goes >2 steals per game which was his average before more sitting. For most of the season it was like, greater difference between him and then-2nd place PG-13 than PG and spot 9 or something, while also averaged 1 block. He has more "Stocks" than Rudy.
And he's #3 in deflections per game as well as total deflections while top 5 in contested 3s.
Dude was good. Meanwhile, Herb Jones who was above him, is top 10 in virtually no hustle stats except being effectively tied with SGA on contested 3s.
