Boost for reddit has now truly 100% died. Hello Lemmy!
(lemmy.world)
Community of the Android app Boost for Lemmy
After having used Boost for Reddit for so long I was happy to cough up a bit of money to get Boost for Lemmy to not have any ads. Jerboa was great for a free app, but for me the user experience felt free. I haven't used it since BfL came out so not sure if it's improved since then.
Hey I get that. I was like that myself originally. But after using jerboa I actually like it more. No hate towards anyone who uses boost or sync or whatever. I just like the feel of it.
And don't get me wrong, jerboa has its own issues. One of the biggest being a lack of thumbnail protocol for large images or not being able to unblock communities/users without going to the full website but for a free app without ads it's pretty nice.
Did the same, if I'm gonna make the switch then I might as well stick to what I'm used to anyhow
