Anon likes Valve

I don't get the hate. A 1st person moba sounds fucking fire. Added bonus that it's valve's community.
is it caz tf2 is on fire?
EDIT: oh, it's 3rd person! sry
Sounds fire? So surely you've heard of Smite then? Or Paragon? Or Paragon: Overprime? Or Predecessor?
I thought about mentioning Smite myself, but it's over-the-shoulder, not 1st person. From a quick Google, Paragon and Predecessor seem to be the same.
Yes, but I commented after the edit where the OP realized their mistake and corrected it to 3rd person.
I didn't but I do like the idea
Yes
If you're interested in a 1st person moba, try smite
Smite is 3rd person though
I've made a mistake, it's 3rd person. Sorry, just don't wanna missinform
Take2 tried it with Battleborn, but failed miserably. Sincerely hoping Valve is more successful. I would love to play a 1st person moba.
I've made a mistake, it's 3rd person. Sorry, just don't wanna missinform
I've seen pre-alpha gameplay and it's currently 3rd person. Maybe they'll change it though. Valve tends to test heavily and make lots of changes over time before release.
I'm really hopeful. I want something to scratch the Overwatch itch after it's gone down hill.
I’m not big into multiplayer games, but I have noticed that lemmy and Reddit just get very pessimistic whenever a beloved company announces a multiplayer game
TF2 was on fire for years and they did jack shit. Yeah that makes me veeery optimistic and excited about their next game (/s)
but they got hats, and if you really think about it, that's not much less than what most competetive games get for updates (only skins)
Epic Games had a first person shooter moba, called Paragon, that failed and closed down. It was actually not bad, just not popular enough.
