I am never going to complain about a NMS update, but if it's planet generation overhaul, you had better take pictures of your favorite bases now.
You think it'll destroy the bases? Has this happened before?
Yes, there have been broad and focused terrain generation changes in previous updates that have wiped out bases, especially if they're built in a cave or follow the existing terrain.
Quite often you just find out the hard way... You teleport in only to find yourself hovering in the sky or embedded in the ground. ๐
I am lucky that never happened to me.
