She’s already broken barriers, and now Kamala Harris could shatter several more after President Joe Biden abruptly ended his reelection bid and endorsed her.

Biden announced Sunday that he was stepping aside after a disastrous debate performance catalyzed fears that the 81-year-old was too frail for a second term.

Harris is the first woman, Black person or person of South Asian descent to serve as vice president. If she becomes the Democratic nominee and defeats Republican candidate Donald Trump in November, she would be the first woman to serve as president.

Biden said Sunday that choosing Harris as his running mate was “the best decision I’ve made” and endorsed her as his successor.

Hopefully there is potency in someone who can speak full and coherant sentences! :-D You may be right but at the very least it'll be nice to hear lucid speech again and we'll soon see if it's actually effective in the current climate! Wow the bar has been set low!?

Well this is just a silly take. Have you not watched the state of the unions during bidens presidency? He was a decent politician. That includes speeches.

Oh he definitly WAS. Still can be on occasion. But the debate, trailing of into incoherance. Recent major gafs mixing up Putin and Zelensky and mixing up Trump and Kamala Harris?! His interview after the debate was better but not great and the harsh fact is that he's as good as he will ever be right now and only going to get worse with time. As for the other person I was really mostly referring to, Trump has been a babbling, gush of incoherrancy for years!
