Its not that they criticise libs, its that they criticism everything and everyone. There is nothing that brings them joy other than being mad on the internet. You ask what they do like and they recoil in terror.
I actually see a lot of joy on hexbear especially in the trans community there :)
Living in a society as racist, classist and just plain cruel as the West can be very demoralising though so I don’t blame people for being doomerish about it. However the comments on Harris are mostly just funny jokes so I think I don’t really agree with your assessment.
I think that is true of many online trans communities. The ones I've brushed up against are very supportive of their members with varied reactions to people who are not members of the community. Obviously based on that non-group member's behavior.
I have never found this to be true, you can ask anyone on Hexbear what they want and they will tell you.
Hell, !Games@Hexbear.net is the most pleasant place to discuss gaming on Lemmy IMO.
You may be right. I can't see myself going there to find out.
It's my personal experience, I go there frequently. It's nice not having constant liberalism, and the non-political communities are very active and pleasant if you post there.
This is exactly it right here. Everything comes with a little kick or elite dig. "What YOU peasants participate in is below my delicate sensibilities."
What? No, it isn't elitism. I assume you don't want to be in spaces dominated by conservative voices and transphobia, correct? Same concept.
