This is not American. Not saying you shouldn't donate to Harris, but seeing money written out that way seems fishy as shit to someone who would otherwise be looking to donate.

The donation page is actblue, the primary liberal/progressive funding site in the US. It requires you to be a US citizen to donate.

Even if OP of this thread isn't American, the charity is.

It’s likely the funds are displayed in whatever format the browser believes is local to you.

Also in the US, the dollar sign is written before the number, like $5, not 5$
(Even though it's spoken after the number, and almost all other units are after the number in both speech and writing)

The dollar symbol should appear to the left of the numeral, and the cent cent symbol goes to the right of the numeral.

$1 = 100¢
