Sports because cable networks pay out the nose for exclusive rights, which they won't be able to for much longer while bidding against streaming giants like Amazon. And 24 hour news because of the convenience factor to older people and businesses, which I think is also going to die out over time.
So the reality is cable is just a dinosaur media delivery method that IS going to die, it's only a matter of when.
