This may be their first internal development but they are a fantastic game publisher already! They take a lot of chances publishing weirder stuff and it pays off a lot of the time. My favorites are:
Outer Wilds
Journey
Stray
What Remains of Edith Finch
Donut County
Gone Home
Kentucky Route Zero
I kind of look at them as the A24 of games (nevermind that Annapurna Pictures is a thing) where they have excellent taste in choosing what odd features to publish and give a chance despite not creating them themselves. It at least suggests they care about the artistry of the product to a point where I'm expecting that same standard in their first hands-on development.
Ooo, that's an idea I like. What else has Annapurna done?
Edit: They've published Stray, which was amazing. (But it wasn't their development like I initially thought.) I am cautiously optimistic.

You just added a couple more games to my backlog. Thanks! :)
Saving this ty
The only things Annapurna has made up until now have been exclusivity deals. This is their first game that's actually theirs.
Normally I'd be hesitant, but Nightdive's first game was the System Shock remake and it is pretty dope
We'll see what the stuff looks like when it's close to release.
Their wiki article lists System Shock as their third original game (I guess do you mean developed solely by them?)

Also - their release of SS was plagued with delays (like almost a decade) and still released with game breaking bugs.
Yeah but it's fun
