MODERATORS
My doctor told me I was having mini strokes and had to go to the ER. Sat for 8 hours in the ER . There was a girl there a little younger than me telling them about the same exact symptoms I had. I finally had enough after they told me to wait for the eighth time, and stormed out.
Went home. Woke up blind. I had the stroke in my sleep that night. (1/10, don't recommend).
Then I had to go to three specialists before I could go back to the ER and be let into triage.
So, yeah. This comic is dead on accurate.
Fund state medical care! Shit man..that is fucking horrible, I’ve had similar thing but on a much much smaller scale. Hope you are doing ok and the blindness recovered quickly. Scary shit.
Thanks. Yeah I'm better, nowhere near what I was though. Took a year and a half to recover. Now they just shrug and say "it's your new normal".
I think about that other girl sometimes though. I doubt she has good insurance like I did. I hope she's ok.
