I’ve always wondered why LCARS wasn’t huge. I thought we’d see like Lbuntu 9.0 Goofy Geordi but alas.

I think that its kinda wonky to actually use. And the installation can be difficult depending on your set up. Still cool though.

I used an lcars windowing system decades ago. Can't recall if it was a windows theme or a Linux window system.
It was neat but not really that usable at the time
