This place sounds great for certain people. If you like golf, don't mind instacart being your primary source for groceries, possibly owning a car on the mainland, and are able to afford this lifestyle.

The article didn't mention how long the ferry ride takes or if it runs 24/7. I can't imagine the ferry being busy at 3am but I could imagine possibilities when people want to get off the island at that hour.

They said it’s 30 minutes. So not too bad. I’ve lived on a similar island elsewhere and you just don’t leave the island much unless you want to spend the whole day doing things on the mainland.
