Hillary called him a Russian puppet to his face.
"No puppet, no puppet. You're the puppet!"
I still don't understand how that exchange didn't end his political career. He had said a lot of stupid shit up to that point, but that was when I distinctly remember thinking "this guy is like a 4 year old child who's been caught red-handed."
You could say that about almost every notable remark in his political career.
Some white folks decided the momentary getting away with saying the N-Word was worth voting for a raging moron instead of a boring candidate
