MODERATORS
The problem is having a contested convention would have been just as bad. We all know what happened with McGovern in '72. The only chance was immediately unifying behind someone else and Harris was the only one people could agree on.
The main stupid decision was Biden not sticking to his word and choosing to run again despite his obvious unpopularity and age.
