Others so they don’t fall for the troll. If you can’t see it you either didn’t read the post, or don’t have enough knowledge to call out bullshit on this topic.

How about they enable anticheat on Linux for Rust before buying Amazons terrible MMO?
Noticed it as well, left the server. I use some dotfiles from archcraft on my system, but immediately un-archcraftified my installation. Such a shame.

Thank you for the detailed response, but I was merely criticizing the flowchart. I am a Linux poweruser/sysadmin, and roll with arch at home, asahi fedora on my MacBook, and I manage mint/debian at work.
My flowchart would have two branches. You either are new and I recommend mint for work, popOS/maybe Nobara for gaming, or you’re not new and should go and do your own research as to which distro is good for you.
New to Linux, not fine with learning, and getting asked if you want apt or rpm… not sure if that works.

Smart home shouldn’t be prebuilt. One has to build it themselves so it matches their use case. One should optimally also not need 10 apps to run a home. I do everything using Home Assistant App.
I am also a firm believer that every smart device should have a physical override. If it doesn’t, then I am personally not interested. If it only works via app, then it has an expiry date.
