Stickied good luck.
Not exercising or doing my PT lately. Doing chess and language a couple days a week. Started an Ilan Pappe book about the inevitable fall of isntreal instead of finishing State and Revolution. Chugging along, slowly but surely.
My week was ok, I went running on 3 days and practiced meditation on 4 days
Felt myself spiraling so decided to study and I think it helped like a lot. HVAC is pretty neat to learn and seeing how everything relys back to each other is pretty fun, no longer do I think "man this cold air is good" it's all about heat transfer
Deciding on taking the Heat pump service test for NATE cert, hardest one they got but it's a fuck it we ball kinda deal I'm in. Got 3 weeks to learn all I know, got a study guide and doing as many online courses as I can with the hope of not just passing it but mastering this specialty. I want this bad so it means I gotta keep studying and applying myself and pray for some luck end of the day.
Took two classes last week to prepare for some HVAC certs I wanna get, combo of feeling overwhelmed sitting there but determined to at least finish the total 8 classes. Been drilling myself with online classes, quizzes and a book I got so I hopefully can take it and pass. Got another 2 set this week I'm going to, hoping my studying pays off
A community which focusses on improving yourself. This can be in many different ways - from improving physical health or appearance, to improving mental health, creating better habits, overcoming addictions, etc.
While material circumstances beyond our control do govern much of our daily lives, people do have agency and choices to make, whether that is as "simple" as disciplining yourself to not doomscroll, to as complex as recreating yourself to have many different hobbies and habits.
This is not a place where all we do is talk about improving "productivity" (in a workplace context) and similar terms and harmful lifestyles like "grindset". Self-improvement here is intended to make you a generally better and happier person, as well as a better communist, and any other roles you may have in your life.
