Just beat the GOG version today. It's my perfect summer game, since in-universe it takes place in July of 1998 and it nails the summertime in the woods vibe, if it had zombie dogs chasing you.

I'm reading the manga and the little story about the punk being car sick had me laughing out loud. Shit, love it. I haven't laughed at a manga since Dr. Slump.

The news article is old but CNN had this guy on their show this morning and asked him again if Gaza should be nuked and he still said yes. No pushback at all on the part of CNN. Would it fucking kill you neoliberal pukes to at least say "the fuck is wrong with you?"

Some things I like about the game:

• It's got a good story

• The gameplay loop scratches the itch for anyone who likes dungeon crawlers

• It does a pretty faithful job of simulating playing an mmorpg and interacting with other players playing it too (town npcs are players and you can freely trade items with them)

Some dislikes:

• Enemies tend to be spongey or have gimmicks like confusing Kite and making him kill the entire party by accident

• So you have to grind a bit, it's not too bad though

• The english game's dub is kinda poo poo (thankfully they included the JP dub you can switch in the options)

Anyway else play the IMOQ titles or have any other PS2 games to recommend to me?
