I have a Mitsubishi Electric "MSZ-GL06NA".

The vanes seem to not move at all, regardless of any position.

The vane motor makes no noise either that I can hear.

Mitsubishi Electric doesn't provide on the phone help for end users.

And the internet is full of SEO spam.

I tried:

  1. Cutting the power for 1 minute.
  2. Setting vane to open / close and doing #1

Is there an external reset button perhaps, what else should I do for troubleshooting?

Edit 1: Solution found! Steps:

  1. Turn breaker off
  2. Remove front panel
  3. Remove Motor
  4. Twist motor to extremes then back to "closed"
  5. Remove motor wires and reseating
  6. Putt all back together
  7. Turn breaker back on. https://lemmy.ml/comment/18994396

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful dinner.

After we ate, he hugged me and brought me to his bed.

He got a heatpad out, and placed it on my stomach while cuddling me.

I fell asleep in less than 5 minutes.

I typically sleep after 10-15 minutes.

Why did the heatpad knock me out so quickly?

Edit 1: Going to perform a control test (headpad minus the boyfriend) in a few weeks: https://lemmy.world/comment/17421938

Like y'all keep posting about it, praising it, giving it free advertisement, and what not.

But the dev is a fascist, the discord server is a fascist bar, and the project thus is fascist.

I've met people who were harassed, I browsed through now deleted messages of Vaxry using slurrs and more.

So I wonder is if the people who post constantly about it know and are complicit, or just don't know and would act otherwise?

It gets tiring to see the project be given "fame" when I know the roots of the plants are founded in toxicity & abuse.

I noticed that "Ask Lemmy" only has 4 moderators.

That's a single mod per 12k~ subscribers.

Or a single mod per 250~ users daily.

@14specks hasn't made a post and comment in 2 years.

@tmpod@lemmy.pt hasn't in 4 months.

@Cloak in a year.

@mekhos in 3 years.

Where are the mods?

  1. He saw me walking.
  2. He walked into the grass & mud when I was 15m away.
  3. He continued to walk in the grass & mud past me.
  4. When he was past me for an additional 10m, he walked back onto the sidewalk.

Yeah I was wearing what I think is pretty good style (picture attached), but was that all the reason to get his sneakers wet and muddy?

There was plenty of space on the sidewalk for us to just, walk on our respective right sides.

Need perspective of some men.

Picture of my outfit.

Edit 1

I am going with "DeltaWingDragon"s response. Most likely a covid era leftover behavior, especially because I was wearing a mask and he was not.

Edit 2

For the men posting about not wanting to be a threat, in this case I think it would have been best for you (not him, as his reason is unknown and likely what the precious edit mentioned), is to pass by while following the sidewalk sharing rules (move to your right side of the sidewalk) and nodding a "good morning" or whichever time day it was as you go bye, without shifting much eye focus from the path you're walking.

Please don't internalize that you're a threat, you can be much more then what you're painted as.

  • Do I cut holes in them to let air in?
  • Do I buy new ones with light weight breathable material?
  • Do I buy croc-platforms?
  • Do I buy anti-perspirants?
  • Do I add air cooling or water cooling?
  • Buy platforms shoes instead of boots?

What do I do 😭?

I don't want to go back to sneakers (I am tired of them), and I am too self-conscious to wear sandles or open top heals.

I recently started using Tolcylen for an infection on my nails.

I think its been like 2 weeks now for me, ans the nails no longer have yellowish scarring when dry, instead being whiteish in the parts that were once yellowish.

I'm guessing the whiteish scarring are previously infected areas that have been purged of fungus, and that once the nail grows out in a few months time there will be no more scar marks.

How did the progress go for you if you've used Tolcylen?

I found this super curly / coily hair.

Generally my hair is wavey, and has very gentle curls that can make rolls.

This single strand (cut out) gets more and more coily towards the end, unlike my normal hair.

It feels bumpy, and light reflects off it inconsistently, almost as if the hair root is twisted.

I cut it off at the part where it didn't seem to be doing the weird coily (towards the top of the image).

A steam locomotive is known to be able to pull more then any pure combustion engine locomotive. (Uncited)

Why didn't oil fired steam locomotives take off?

This started when I watched: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hszu80NJ438

During the runtime, it mentioned oil fired retrofits.

I search it up, and found one.

It was an overview video of a modern retrofit, and it seems to not be too difficult to retrofit, even using the same steam blaster to spread the oil in the smoke box: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Up1UaMVnv4M

I searched for the engine briefly, and found no mention of anyone thinking of this.

This post comes from this comment of mine.

In my original comment, I note that I immediately think the strain would blow the entire thing a part.

What are your reasons of why you think would not work, or why no one has tried, or maybe you know someone who did try?

Note, Not the size of a car. More like the size of a cargo ships diesel engine. ("Wärtsilä-Sulzer RTA96-C" as an example)

I am not uneducated in this matter, I run Matrix instances and have dabbled in development of tools around it.

Perhaps our experience is different, but I have had great difficulty in helping groups on the ground to use Matrix.

Regardless of our agreement that Matrix is better than Signal, it should not cloud our judgement in at least reducing the harm that is Telegram.

In the future we can keep joining hands to work towards a better future, but for now I hope you can understand my perspective and choice.
