The whole album is mostly post-punk but the single "Crazy" is more jangle pop. R.E.M. covered it for a b-side to the "Wendell Gee" single.

Disclaimer: I do not know if Forgotten Woods was among the Norwegian Black Metal groups from the early 1990s who were also neo-Nazis but, I mean, there's a pretty solid chance they were. That whole scene, you know. I only posted this cover because the image is striking to me, it looks like it might be taken from an old movie (early 20th century) but not one that I have identified. Also the girl looks like someone I knew back in high school so maybe that's why I find the image so eye-catching.

Engineered by Conny Plank, whose birthday is today! (I didn't actually plan this, listened to it yesterday without knowing about that)

Good hippie music, I absolutely recommend it if you're into this style of music. The album consists of two long tracks, one on each side of the record. They make great use of stereo, sounds travelling from one channel to the other, etc. So make sure to listen it in a way you can hear this and fully appreciate it.

Back:

Why are they complaining about the "noise" when the middle person is wearing headphones? Is the music very loud and the headphones crappy? Or are they complaining about noise from another source that the middle person is not hearing because of the headphones?

Very confusing!

Also, there should be an updated version of "My Telephone" with lyrics about smartphones instead.

I‘m didn’t find anything in the rules concerning photos of ~~your own~~ albums from your collection or showing front and back cover in one picture. Maybe this post can start a discussion about it.

  • I think photos are ok, if they are decently cropped.
  • I think the back cover oftentimes is part of the artwork and should be allowed.
  • I think inside covers of douple LPs/gatefolds should also be allowed. Maybe with an addition to the title like: [Rock] Electric Light Orchestra - Out of the Blue[inside] - (1977)

The actual cover art of the CD release is only the middle right part of this image as indicated by the creases. This is the artwork you get by fully unfolding the booklet, but I don't think it's big enough to call it a poster.

The gods made heavy metal and they saw that is was good
They said to play it louder than Hell
We promised that we would
When losers say it's over with you know that it's a lie
The gods made heavy metal and it's never gonna die
