For context, here's what they look like once they've grown up:
This gorgeous little lady has been living among my cucumber plant for 2 months. She recently moved onto my zucchini plant after I had to start spraying the cucumbers with neem oil for powdery mildew. Her zucchini leaf also has powdery mildew but I don’t have the heart to cut it off the plant because she’s made herself a little home there.
When I first saw her, she was missing 2 legs and she was very small.
Since then, I’ve noticed a few of her sheds in the cucumbers and she has tripled in size. Last week, she even caught 2 honeybees!
I never understood why people fear spiders. Just look at this beautiful gal! Such a pretty shade of green too 💚
We saw a pretty good amount of them in our yard this June. It was nice. I can't remember seeing many lightning bugs for years.
