I am always in awe at the time and patience for all these builds.

Non licensed Zelda statues have come a really long way. I’d love to get all the sages if I had the room and money from this company.

Trying to bring some life into this community. One of the things that has always fascinated me about totk is all the crazy contraptions people build, so I’ll be posting them as I come across them and crediting where I can.

As a side note, I was unaware you could do this to the cucco

Find them at standard retailers (GameStop, Best Buy, etc.)

And this time make A Link to the Past "cool", not "cute" like LA Remake and A Link Between Worlds were. ALBW's style and atmosphere bugged me-- it didn't feel like A Link to the Past at all.

There's not even a single guide anywhere on GameFAQs. Yes, I know the world is procedurally-generated (and I think the game changes slightly if you have DLC, like four heart pieces move to the dark world, I think?), but there is a lot of static information such as general strategy, enemy info, static items, achievement tips, challenge types, other stuff.

Hell, there were times I was so stuck and nobody online seemed to have any info. Nobody told me straight that Petal Trimmer wasn't available in story. It was really hard to figure out how Temple of Brainstorms circuits worked, or how to use the blue boxes in that temple, or where my last missing heart piece was, or really anything.

Cadence of Hyrule is a great game— if absolutely obtuse at times. It deserves and needs a good guide.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a thought. Occasionally, I stumble upon one of the flying island with a small pool teeming with a handful of fish or spot a group of ostriches roaming.

Now, I fully understand that this is merely a video game, and that these non-playable characters will respawn after the first blood moon as the game resets its content... However, I can't help but feel a twinge of hesitation when contemplating the idea of stripping the land bare, removing the fish, plants, and trees for a quick boost or, more likely, yet another ancient arowana for my sack (I've lost count at this point!).

Does anyone else experience this bittersweet melancholy when immersed in virtual worlds? do you take everything, or just what you need?

Does anyone have an idea maybe based on when past amiibos have dropped. I think they said like early holiday season right? So maybe late October early november?

(Unrelated side note: when will you give us a Bayo 3 amiibo Nintendo? You're leaving money on the table Nintendo.)

Any particular character that you like? From which game and why do you like them?

For me it has to be Zelda, and if I have to pick a specific Zelda it's gotta be Skyward Sword Zelda. I felt like she had the most chemistry with Link from the whole series and she was very sweet.

Just my opinion, but having the Hero items be unbreakable allows for so much more experimentation and fun in TotK.

It's the only mod I've got installed, and now instead of "Oh a unique trident that I can never use... wow..." I can play around with fuses and different fighting techniques without worry.

This mod also applies to the Master Shield and Master Sword, so I can surf around at my hearts content and swing away without having to purposefully break my sword after every fight so it'll recharge.

I'm in the Gerudo prison dungeon in Twilight Princess right now and having a blast!

This was a compilation of shrine skips I did with bomb impact launch (aka boomie zoomies).

I absolutely love Tears of the Kingdom and am playing it almost none stop. It's just as good as Breath of the Wild, but I still find there are things that I miss.

What about you? Is there anything from Breath of the Wild that you miss?

I created this community on Lemmy.World because I am giving up reddit and would still like a forum to discuss my favorite games.
