So I have another lemmy app that I keep around for only one feature - hoping it can be considered here. When I long press the account selector (bottom middle), not only does it list my accounts but it also queries the servers and returns 1. Response time in ms and (more importantly) 2. Number of unread messages/replies/you get the drift. I will literally hop on that, see where I have unread, then pop back over here to read them.

When you get dots in the ribbon stats is that because there was no data? Or does it mean there wasn't enough room for them?

Apologies if there is a better way to do this. Been using the app for about a week now and loving it, but noticed I was missing a few features I really liked elsewhere and was hoping to get them on the drawing board.

1. Option to see overall ‘user rating’ for other accounts. Basically as you’re scrolling g you see a number next to their name, possibly color coded, showing how you’ve rated them in the past. Could be posts on their posts and comments on their comments, or even just an aggregation of both in both places.

2. Option to see the split post rankings, for example instead of seeing the post is at +27 I could see it’s actually +33 and -6.

How do I turn off the green leaf icon?

noticed that posts on my local instance that i can see in the web browser arent getting loaded by the app for some reason. this was easy to tell for low-traffic communities where i could account for every post

Has anyone else seen this error when trying to submit a report

When I collapse a long comment at or near the bottom of the thread, the viewer is blank and i have to scroll far upwards to find the comment i collapsed. I'd suggest to scroll to keep the collapsed comment handle somewhere in view.

I’d like to limit my feed to a rolling 1 week window so that I don’t run into the same old posts at the “end” of my feed.

I browse my feed by “new” and usually scroll until I’m caught up. I notice that I’m caught up once the posts are a week old.

Instead of reading older posts, I’d love to just have a hard end to the feed where there are no more posts.

Not sure if this makes sense? Or if this is the correct channel for feature requests.

It seems like the versioning on the GitHub page is getting further and further away from the releases on the Apple Store. Right now it shows version 2.0.1 in the Apple Store, but the latest release posted on the GitHub is 1.3, dated May of 2024.

When reading longposts I often lose my place by either a) accidentally tapping the Feeds button in the corner of the screen with the heel of my palm, which scrolls to the top, or b) accidentally tapping the article body (either while actively scrolling or just holding my phone), which collapses the post.

Anyone have advice for avoiding these on longposts? Skill issue?
