Oh god.... This is SNL level embarrassment shit right there!

What the heck are Hispanic people doing in the ranks of that demonic org?

I guess there's bad people no matter where you go, so that's a simple explanation.

[-] bagsy@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

They get a $50k sign on bonus in 5 years, assuming Trump is still in power, and actually pays the bill.

That's alot of assumptions, but none of these shit for brains are too clever so who really knows what they were thinking.

[-] III@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

Got some bad news for those folks. It's 10K a year in good standing but if they fall out of good standing (a vaguely defined measuring stick) they have to pay back the bonus...going all they way back to signing.

Just another assumption for them.

[-] Nebraska_Huskers@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

What are the odds it wasn't them? They just became fall guys for the white agents?

[-] Ach@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

Pretty low dude. Historically some of the most racist groups toward 2nd generation Irish immigrants were 1st wave Irish immigrants. Humans are impressively fucking stupid which is why I don't have any.

[-] deHaga@feddit.uk 1 points 1 week ago

Where do you think all the south American juntas get their troops?

[-] ripcord@lemmy.world 0 points 1 week ago

SNL level embarrassment...?

[-] altphoto@lemmy.today 1 points 1 week ago

SNL has had several skits regarding this sort of thing and the reaction of black people and white people to seeing themselves as causing trouble out on the streets.

Two Mexicans killed an American, lmao.

[-] SuiXi3D@fedia.io 4 points 1 week ago

Because he was ‘in the way’ of them deporting other Mexicans for not assimilating enough fast enough.

[-] N0t_5ure@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

We've found the blood-thirsty criminal Mexicans. Quick, deport them.

[-] Zamboni_Driver@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 week ago

Two Americans with Mexican sounding names killed an American.

Are you sure you don't work for ICE?

[-] Darkness343@lemmy.world 0 points 1 week ago

I don't even live in the American wasteland lol

[-] Zamboni_Driver@lemmy.ca 0 points 1 week ago

Ah well your prejudice would make you useful to them.

[-] stephen01king@piefed.zip 0 points 1 week ago

Maybe he's using ICE's logic on them as a form of irony?

[-] Deceptichum@quokk.au 1 points 1 week ago

“Hah you fool I was merely pretending to be racist!”

Yeah, nah.

[-] stephen01king@piefed.zip 0 points 1 week ago

Not really, I was thinking the exact same thing when I heard the name. These ICE agents are exactly the ones that would be accused of being an illegal Mexican immigrant under the current way ICE is functioning, and it feels ironic that they're the ones killing other Americans for ICE's sake.

[-] Deceptichum@quokk.au 0 points 1 week ago

If you’re first thought on hearing a Mexican sounding name is that they can’t be American you would probably make a good ICE employee.

It doesn’t matter if it’s hypocritical of them, it’s still racism on your behalf.

[-] stephen01king@piefed.zip 0 points 1 week ago

You need to learn how to read. I never said what you claimed I did.

[-] Deceptichum@quokk.au 0 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

You heard two Mexican sounding names and thought the exact same thing: "Two Mexicans killed an American, lmao."

Where do I need to learn to read?

[-] stephen01king@piefed.zip 1 points 1 week ago

The same thing I was saying is using ICE agents logic back on themselves. Did you really think I actually thought they were Mexican or something? My whole point was that the original comment might not mean it literally. Man, you people have trouble with reading comprehension, don't you?

[-] Zamboni_Driver@lemmy.ca 0 points 1 week ago

It's ok that I'm racist to this person, because I don't like them!

So ironic, so progressive.

[-] stephen01king@piefed.zip 0 points 1 week ago

If my suggestion was correct, tell my how you think the other guy is racist when he doesn't think they are actually Mexican?

[-] Zamboni_Driver@lemmy.ca 0 points 1 week ago

What.

Lmao. What do they teach in schools these days... I don't think that your suggestion is correct. The person called them Mexicans because they had Latino names.

[-] stephen01king@piefed.zip 0 points 1 week ago

Yeah, so if that's your argument against the likelihood of my explanation being true, that would make perfect sense. What I don't understand is why people are so quick to accuse me of being racist as if I'm claiming them to be Mexican? All I see are people not wanting to understand what point I'm making and jumping to conclusions.

[-] Zamboni_Driver@lemmy.ca 0 points 1 week ago

It was the part where you said:

Not really, I was thinking the exact same thing when I heard the name. These ICE agents are exactly the ones that would be accused of being an illegal Mexican immigrant under the current way ICE is functioning, and it feels ironic that they’re the ones killing other Americans for ICE’s sake.

[-] stephen01king@piefed.zip 1 points 1 week ago

You mean the part under the context where I said I'm using the logic ICE agents would use, not the logic I'm using personally? So no, I didn't say I think they are Mexican.

[-] Zamboni_Driver@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 week ago

Yea, I mean the part that you wrote.

[-] Death__BySnuSnu@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Couple of fucking Tío Toms.

[-] Wispy2891@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago
