At least he's consistent? Y'all voted for this.

And here we see the decline of modern western civilization. What kind of world are we living in when someone won't Google clearly traumatic shit due to peer pressure of not understanding a reference?

All hope is lost.

If only this plan was written down somewhere in a like...Project 2025 handbook outlining the major objectives and methods.

If only.

Someone is wrong lol. NFL, for example, cannot do anything outside of Twitter at this time. They are apparently working on it, but it's gotta be implemented league-wide, so it's taking some time. Idk if they're even trying to get onto Mastodon, last I heard it was just Bluesky.

This is a large org with hundreds of millions of fans, with no presence on Fediverse really. I'm sure there are mirror accounts, but none are official.

Dudes downfall is tragic. Hero to villain speed run, and it could potentially be blamed on his stroke, although I didn't follow him closely enough in the beginning to see if there were signs

I'm actively waiting for the day I get my layoff notice so I can ask my family "what happened", since they think my job is untouchable. I work in employment services for people with disabilities, under the Dept of Education lmao, I'm squarely what he wants to cut.

I've been calling people going on T "gender affirming care". Your body naturally slows down as it ages; going against nature is an affront to God and serves only to push the narrative that you aren't getting older, despite the inevitable still occurring. If you want to take hormones to change your body, you can go to a socialist country like France or Canada.

The knots in the brain are visible from miles away, it's great.

I'm not a big Fediverse proponent, like...the concept is good, if not still a little young (activity pub isn't ironed out across mediums and is still a bit jank in my opinion) but it seems a bit like a cash grab to be the savior dev making all the X-equivalent of Fediverse, and just hopefully something sticks. With PixelFed blowing up, feel like Loops is gonna take a back seat for quite a while.

The Loops app certainly feels like it. Not to diminish a solo dev doing something on his own, but it just seems like a standard video player with like, comment, follow. Search feature is only by user; when you type a comment, it doesn't wrap the text, it just moves horizontally until you post it. I think the feed is literally just a chronological list of every video posted, and for some reason, most of the videos I see on it are just like...atmospheric videos. Still camera, nature background, rain in someone's backyard. People love the concept, but I don't see how it's anywhere near ready to compete for users like other options are right now.

Oh for sure. The cop shouldn't get a pass just cause I don't like the victim. I'm just finding it hard to find sympathy for him

What's the narrative? If he would have just listened? He had a bad history (innocent people don't need pardoned)? Cops do a dangerous job, there are bound to be grey areas? Idk, take your pick.

Thoughts and prayers.
