I will usually call myself out.

I will say "I thought you sent me the email but I just can't find it, I'm so sorry, would you please send it again."

I hate it and hate not being able to find info when I need it.

How is Microsoft worse at this kind of thing after all these years of making productivity software?

Could it be their vibe coded AI slop of a platform?

Outlook search is so shitty that I am that guy.

"Why didn't you send this email!"

They forward it to me again.

Now it shows in Outlook's search when before I had performed a search with the exact subject line and Outlook couldn't fucking find it.

It is so terrible. My job gave us AI agents that supposedly can search my email better.

Did MS purposefully enshittify built in features to make AI look better?

It's the lack of real oversight.

One problem that union supporters like to ignore is that it is the police union's fault it has gotten this bad.

I'm not knocking unions, there is a reason they are needed. (Capitalism unchecked is just plutocracy.)

But they have gone way too far, in shielding them from repercussions, that is has fostered a culture of "I can do whatever the fuck I want" and a sense of entitlement for that culture.

Only people from Chicago give a shit about what other people put on their hot dogs.

New Yorkers don't give a shit.

There was a brief moment, while I was going through SERE training, in the Navy; it was before we were "captured" but long enough that I hadn't eaten in a while. We were in the low mountains of SoCal, dry and hot. Whenever we would stop movement for a moment and take a seat, I could smell when an ant was on me.

I didn't recognize what the smell was at first until I saw an ant, after smelling it. I hooked him on my finger and brought him close to my nose and it was clear, he was the source.

I couldn't describe it very well though, not a common smell to me. Never experienced it since.

Maybe it was the combination of no food or bathing, and heightened stress. My SiL also went through SERE, says she has no idea what I was talking about, and just makes fun of me about it. But she's also the type of person who would lie about it, just to fuck with me.

So who knows.

When that major drama unfolded with him getting booted then re-hired. It was super fucking obvious that it was all about the money, the data, and the salesmanship He is nothing but a fucking tech-bro. Part Theranos, part Musk, part SBF, part (whatever that pharma asshat was), and all fucking douchebag.

AI is fucking snake oil and an excuse to scrape every bit of data like it's collecting every skin cell dropping off of you.

Taiwan made a sarcastic comment.

Essentially calling out their policy of "Territorial Integrity", they told them to take back land they gave to Russia

Hot take:

China has lost all faith in Russia. Is reorganizing to reflect that.

And maybe is even considering Taiwan's advice, lol.

Article says Jill pulls $85k. So the rest is probably investments, which is pretty damn modest, considering their age.

We will absolutely have automation but the workers will just be fired and all profits will be absorbed by the stockholder.

No cost savings will be passed on the other consumer either.
