Oh wow, this one is kind of interesting and at the same time creepy: https://lemmy.lvanrem.com/person?user=https%3A%2F%2Fpiefed.jeena.net%2Fu%2Fjeena&redirect=/leaderboard and I'm number 876 in comments and posts!
This is only tangentially related, but that graphic dropped me into a rabbit hole where I found this dynamic word visualisation tool with a similar visual aesthetic that's pretty neat.
(Edit: seems experimental though and I've managed to break it a few times lol)
Kind of scary how you can stalk someone with it ahha.
Reminds everyone to be careful with what information they share online
Exactly. I like this website because it shows exactly why people say that it's hard to stay anonymous online. Even if you don't directly give away information you can e.g. guess what timezone I approximately live in based in my posting time statistics. If you go through more data and analyze my posts/comments and compare to other users you can tell quite a lot.
Creepy but excellent web app for awareness.
This is awesome! I think its missing some people though. Summit says I have 975 comments (plus this 1 now) and 8 posts. Yet I'm not on the leader board for all time, is there a large population missing? I know .world is on there, just wondering why I am missing.
Edit: I found myself, im number 907 with 163 posts and comments... which is very wrong. Even Lemmy.world in the browser says I'm in the 900s, is it having trouble finding some of the comments and posts?
If you go to https://lemmy.lvanrem.com/trends?wordFilter=test you can see that it's dataset starts from August 12th. Is that it maybe?
Seems like that would be it yeah.
I wonder why the domain starts with lemmy... and then in the center of the picture there is a piefed instance ^^
Should be Threadiverse, but most of the things are called Lemmy now, too late to rename them I guess

Welcome!
Can you imagine, years ago how the internet was before? We know Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok, Youtube. We knew blogger, Tumblr, Skyrock... and long before, it was the forum era as phpBB..and mail-lists.
And now with ActivityPub, we are reshaping the web, and achieving much more with lots of freedom. So thank you all, and welcome ๐ค๐
