Agreed, grapheneOS seem to care more about security than privacy perhaps
Think they said it's because of keeping the cost down, I never do anything except charging with USB C cables on my phone anyway
It seems easy enough to install /e/os afterward. Thinking about buying the phone in store
Oh god
Yeah that is a nice recommended
I am currently trying out Summit, crazy nice app so far
Wasn't exactly this talked about a few years ago?
I hear you, I do trust Apple more than Google. I know Apple is more closed down when it comes to freedom and features, so I could use icloud, there is a little guide to iOS privacy here, also talking about iCloud
Regarding Apple, That's what I feel too, but I don't feel like going Pixel and GrapheneOS or fairphone etc.
But I still want to optimize my privacy and move to open source alternatives where I can without sacrificing too much
You make a good point tbh
Would recommend CachyOS, especially if you have a nvidia card
