This is my first time trying Plum & Bliss—a very mellow and deceptively complex scent. EM was great as always.

Top: hazelnut, lemon, orange, lime
Heart: cedar, clove, rose, lily of the valley
Base: oak, pine, patchouli, eucalyptus

February's BVWSC sample generously came courtesy of @gcgallant@sub.wetshaving.social, who has selected some top tier soaps for us to try. This month's selection is no different. Dragonsbeard is a warm, woody exploration of oud, and I thoroughly enjoyed the shave.

Excellent scents all around! This was a very enjoyable BVWSC shave from a new-to-me artisan, generously provided by @gcgallant@sub.wetshaving.social.
Los Jabones de Joserra Noir is the clean-shaven, dapper, three-piece suit wearing, quietly aloof, socialite brother of the Carhartt-wearing, shaggy-haired, unruly-bearded, wilderness-loving, overly affectionate brother that is Dirtyver.
Suffice it to say that Dirtyver overpowered LJdJ's Noir, but Noir is an easy to use, well crafted scent that I'm now very tempted to introduce to my den.

The scent notes for Roam Two (2.0) are listed as Tobacco, Grass, Soil, Thyme, Sage, Leather, Coffee, Pink Pepper, Juniper, Cypriol, Ginger, Musk, and Black Currant. It opened bright and tangy, but it didn't last long. There were hints of tobacco and leather, but not much more. The scent overall didn't live up to the hype of the original Roam, but I have no basis for comparison with the original.
Lonestar also starts with a similar bright, tanginess, but it opens up in a completely different way, making it a very enjoyable scent.

For November's BVWSC meeting, @walden@sub.wetshaving.social generously provided smushes of Fanzine Saponifications' Caravaggio made by u/TheStallionPartThree.
The leather, vetiver, and pepper scent notes I was picking up worked well with the supportive notes from Ace by Noble Otter.
