I'll hate on Windows all day, but Task Manager is very useful and lightweight, I like it a lot

Same boat

I effing love arch and kde plasma, but nothing I've ever used has felt like a true replacement for Task Manager

I think btop is one of the closest I've found, even if it is a CLI tool (mouse and mouse wheel work, though, so it's really more TUI than CLI)

Happens since Plasma 6, I don't use systemmonitor anymore because its CPU usage confuses me when monitoring CPU load. afaik monitoring apps work by polling so even though the app appears to have high CPU usage it actually spends most of it time waiting for next polling time.
