imo the kind of tired where you've done a lot of stuff and need to lie down is better than the kind of tired when you haven't exercised at all in a long time and don't feel like doing anything including non-physical activities

[-] ladicius@lemmy.world 6 points 10 months ago

Much better.

Where do you rank the kind of tired where consciousness is pain and waking is disaster?

[-] oldfart@lemm.ee 2 points 10 months ago

Just a rough decade, you'll sleep it off

Sometimes I think that would be a nice solution: go into suspended animation for 7-10 years and see if I can slot myself into the new madness later. It would be self-extinction-lite, but that's not an option at our current tech*wealth level.

So, I try and remember all the positive coping mechanisms I can and hope the next day is better. (And, so far, something has worked eventually.)

Yeah this is pretty much it tbh

Will confirm, I don't work out and am also tired.

Life is tiresome, especially in 2025.

reminds you of the newest bullshit going on in the news

Jay Leno voice

"Hey, did'ja see this? Did'ja hear about this??"

straightens chin as if it were a tie

.....I wonder if the reference is too old to land.

[-] taiyang@lemmy.world 1 points 10 months ago

Lands on me, although I hated Leno as a kid (and still do, lol)

The trick is to use sketchy pre-work out caffeine overdoses AND sketchy post-work out caffeine overdoses
