I worked in a warehouse many years ago, one of the office people also worked in a cop shop. She said the people that worked in the sex crimes dept spent very little time in the dept before moving on because of how fucked up they would get working those crimes.

L&O: SVU was so much stupidity with the same 6 cops working there but not commiting suicide from having to deal with sex crimes 24/7/365.

...and then there's "COPS".

I vividly remember watching and loving many of the police dramas when i was younger. C.S.I. being my favourite.

I remember stumbling across COPS on one of the newer "cooler" swedish channels thinking, oh, thats so cool, they will totally be like the shows i like.

After one episode of screaming, loud, obnoxious and frankly stupid people being chased by their equals, my illusion was shattered. Or atleast i knew that COPS weren't for those that likes to see crime get solved.

I liked blue bloods a lot as a show. But damn, the detectives cared way too much about rules for it to be real. Even Danny, (Donnie wahlberg), who was the "bad cop" that broke rules a lot wasn't indicative of reality.

In relation the image that the OP posted;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raq7JZ9dDtI

It's a very dark sketch about police "investigating" sexual assassult claims.

Edit: Fixed the link
