Afroman has a similar suit against him for the cake thief
Was gonna post a link to one of his beautiful songs from an album he wrote because something similar happened.
But then I got high...on the ladder of work and just totally forgot about it.
Something something fat as hell
It sounds like the stop itself isn't what's on trial, but some other statements he made.
Dude should have stayed off social media while his lawsuit was pending. Keep your mouth shut as much as possible is a great rule when dealing with the law or police.
If it's the video I'm thinking of, they can't win though. He only posted a video of the event which isn't him saying anything additional and police while working have no privacy
This is just typical bullying to remove content by threatening with lawsuit.
Per the article:
As part of his social-media postings, Galanakis made several statements, alleging he “basically got kidnapped then raped by the NPD all night,” and falsely indicating Winters had been “convicted” of domestic abuse for beating up a girlfriend.
I'm not on the side of the police but it's hard to deny there is a basis for a legal case here.
Per the article is the Internet's version of "Bless your heart". haha
He posted a lot of commentary too apparently. Probably got caught up in the large audience the case was attracting.
Absolutely. No lawyer worth a damn will advise you to post about your own pending litigation on the internet. It has potential downsides ans zero potential upsides. Post after the litigation is done.
