Yeah. But thanks for all the great posts, eh. Really appreciated all the good flicks you shared.
My pleasure, glad you enjoyed 'em ^^
I think lemmy.dbzer0.com is a good match.
Sweet! I will check it out
Nah, this here community was just the first part of a double feature. I'll see y'all on the next one!
Can someone explain where I should go? Is this a piefed thing? am I supposed to open another social m account and use another client?
You don't have to go anywhere, thankfully, as your home instance lemmy.world is still going strong.
If this movies community moves somewhere, all you'll need to do is subscribe to the new community just as you did with this one.
Piefed is a different project from lemmy, but it's fully compatible with lemmy, so from your end it won't look or act any different. You'll be able to access it from your existing lemmy.world account.
Is there any way to get a list of all the links from the sub? Some of those 2-year-old links are still working, lol.
Community should still be visible from your instance when lemm.ee goes down
Awesome thanks!
Is there anyway to easily copy all my subscriptions to a new instance?
You can bring your current Subscriptions, Blocks, and favorited comments/posts by exporting your Account Settings JSON file, located in your account settings page as an 'Export' button toward the bottom right.
You can then use that file to import all those things at your new instance! :D
Also @tal@lemmy.today
I don't know of one, but it's not too bad if you're using the Web UI to just copy-paste and click subscribe on each, unless you have a lot more subscriptions than I do.
Link to movies on YT or DailyMotion or Invidious or Piped here. We all need something new to watch.
Please make your Post titles like this:
Movie Name (Year resolution)
For example:
Star Wars: A New Hope (1977 720p)
Even if you've already seen a movie before, take a moment and tell us what you think about it, what's good / bad / etc... I'd love to see more conversation around the films we share here.
