Where did you get the title of this post? The article has a different title and yours, with it's double-negative, initially made me think the opposite of reality.

The Shit Lite Party proving that they can be just as evil as (what is left of) the Shit Party.

That phrasing comes from a channel that calls the Teals "not-shit". The imported narrative that "both sides are the same" gives license to the conservative working class to vote against their economic interests, but frankly speaking the Labor party is broadly made up of people who genuinely care but are faced with a corrupt system operating under American global dominance.

We have it quite good in Australia, for the most part. It could be SO much worse.

So the reason voters don't vote say Green is becase they're enthralled to Americans ?

We are the country that is likely to be worst impacted by climate change and the collapse of civilisation. As pointed out by Donald Horne in the 1960s, (paraphrasing) we're a nation of gormless twats who elect mostly fools. At age 60, all I have ever seen is that writ large and worsen as we ignore a litany of experts on health, drugs, the environment, climate change, agriculture, inequality and on and on.

The headline makes the article sound more positive than it actually is...
