7 pounds for a pack of boneless thighs, while breast is 4.58 for the same weight is absolutely mental

Shit, did people finally find out thighs taste better?

Keep that quiet. If people never realize the superior flavor and juiciness, we can keep them to ourselves.

Too late price equalized in the us over last two years.

At this rate prolly get start demanding premium

They have been targeting cheat quality foods to raise prices since covid like crazy

Beef and eggs... Now chicken thighs. It is getting hard for the peasant class to eat good base foods.

Capitalism: an object's cost determined solely on how much customers are willing to pay on a large scale. Raise the price while they pay. When they stop, raise the price again but announce a few pence discount and they will start paying again.

It shows them as £6.50 on the online store, for 1kg.

Damn, that's crazy. That's some wild surge pricing for my local then. This was for 650g...

Was it a local or express type of place or a superstore?

Cost of living is just ludicrous, absolutely awful. Everytime I'm at the store I wince
