I would like this also. This theme is too dark for me. I find the contrast between the very dark grey background and white text too visually jarring. Perhaps it's an autistic sensory issue for me.

No sure what you are referring to, if it's not gray than what is it? If it's white, turn on the dark mode. If it's black, disable the amoled mode.
