It uses Github releases, so getting it with Obtanium should be pretty easy.

It seems to be paid in app stores, but free otherwise.

~~Most open source apps are not free on apple store as apple charges an annual fee from the devs~~

Now I see it's paid in both stores

I think I just accidentally bought it. I’ve been getting more and more into IPTV with jelly fin and some of the public streams for kids. Are there any good resources for m3u playlists?

Does the application work well on AndroidTV?

Would this work in the US?

Is this supposed to be like Plex or jellyfin where you provide your own content but with a wrapper for 'playlists' to make them seem like channels?

No.

This is where you provide a streaming link file like m3u8 or a link to such a file and watch streaming content provided by others. For example NASA has a channel like that, so does CNN, and various other ad-supported TV network streams. There are also paid providers that require a subscription for example to access content.
