That is Western propaganda 101. Spreading lies about the freedom fighters to destroy their character in the eyes of the imperial periphery and keep the imperial powers as the good guys. The USA did that on Vietnam and every other country that it has tried to invade. Always make other people look like savages and their allies as civilized even with all the recorded violations of human rights they have, which is extremely long. If you are for that, I have seen how imperialism makes you cheer, your boos mean nothing to me 🤣
